100603- Catie Rosemurgy and Graham Foust

Catie Rosemurgy's new book of poems is The Stranger Manual. Dean Young enthuses, "Catie Rosemurgy's penetrating meditative force is fueled by a feral play, and we can't help but be swept up in its ricocheting humor, riptide imagination, and mordant, sensual thrill. Reader, prepare for a scorching." Her first poetry collection was called My Favorite Apocalypse.

Graham Foust's new book of poems is A Mouth in California. Susan Howe has said of his work, "Graham Foust has an unerring sense of the exact contours of a particular thought and is able to express them with mathematical precision and emotional delicacy; yet pushing against lyric consrtaint is wildness, uneasiness, sometimes terror." He's published three previous collections, most recently Necessary Stranger. He directs the MFA Program in Creative Writing at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, California.
