First volume no date, 147 pages plus 1 page index with second volume with 1925 printed on title page, 158 pages plus 2 pages. index and advertisements. Tirage of first volume 3100 copies and tirage of second volume 6000 copies. Binding has author and title of book in russian stamped in gilt on spine and stamped on the front cover the owner of the book in russian. Seems to be the first Russian edition of Tartakower's Die Hypermoderne Schachpartie (first published in 1924). One of the three early important books on hypermodern chess (besides Reti and Nimzowitsch). Certainly rare as I could find no record in OCLC, KVK, Russian State Library, Bibliotheca Van der Linde-Niemeijeriana or the John G. White Chess Library. fair condition with some russian writing in pencil and ink on front flyleaf. Some notes in russian and a photograph laid in rear of book. Paper yellowed and endpapers soiled.
