Volumes one and two. Possible reprint or rebound copy of 1886 edition.
Both volumes are quarter bound with wear on spine, not affecting legibility. Cover corners of both volumes are bumped. Wear on top edge of volumes two spine, with front cover board partially exposed. Spines of both volumes are shaken, but binding is secure. Spine of volume two is cocked. Fore and bottom edges of both volumes are lightly foxed, not visible on pages. Previous owner's stamp on second front endpaper of both volumes, along with previous owner's ink signature in volume one. Pages are tanned, but text is bright and unmarked.
