Vol. 1 spine shows sunning and shelf wear. Front and back covers have chipping and rubbing and have many small stains. All edges are very worn. Spine is cracked but secure. Inside back cover has two small stains. Front and back endpapers have small ink stains. Front flyleaf signed by previous owner in ink. several ages have underlining in pencil and stained by bookmark's acid. Otherwise inside is clean and unmarked.
Vol. 2 spine shows sunning and shelf wear. Front and back covers have chipping and rubbing and have many small stains. Upper corner of front cover is torn. Corners are bumped. All edges are very worn. Spine is cracked but secure. Front end page has previous owners signature in pencil. End flyleaf has light foxing. Inside is clean and unmarked.
