There are four floors in our building that house over 200,000 books. On the fourth floor is More Moe's, our art and antiquarian shop that houses many more rare and collectible books and curiosities. To schedule an appointment, call Johnny Williams at (510) 708-9348.

Contacting the Part of the Store That Suits Your Needs
Moe's has three separate areas where books are sold. Please read through to see which option will best serve your needs.
To inquire about a book that might be in our main store, you can call (510) 849-2087 every day from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. We have hundreds of thousands of titles available here, and hundreds of books are bought and shelved each day. Many of our books can be found through the search feature on this site, but the vast majority of titles are just on our shelves. You can also email us at info@moesbooks.com to ask about a specific book you are looking for.
You can use our search feature to look for titles available at More Moe's, our art and antiquarian shop, as well as our warehouse. Listings stored in our antiquarian shop have five or six digit item numbers while listings at our warehouse have seven. If you have any questions about a title listed on our website, you can email info@moesbooks.com. Please allow us up to 24 hours to respond to any inquiries related to listings at our warehouse.

If you have a library, or large collection of books to sell, and are in the San Francisco Bay Area, we do sometimes schedule house calls. We make house calls for scholarly libraries in select categories of 500 volumes or more; for specialized libraries (trains, textiles, philosophy, what have you) of 500 volumes or more on one subject, or in fine editions; or general collections in good condition of a 1,000 volumes or more. If you'd like to see if your collection qualifies for a house call, please email anthonymoes@gmail.com. Please state the quantity and kind of books that you have.
