Leather personal autograph book with tooled and gilt-stamped decorations on front cover and spine, 20 cm, unpaginated (74 pages.), with many autographs collected in New England, some on papers inserted, a few small sketches, and calling cards, leaves and flower petals pasted down. All edges gilt. Contains Edward E. Hale autograph in ink and inscribed by him 'With the best regards of' and dated by him 'July 10, 1856. ' Cover is rubbed all over, especially at edges and spine. Parts of spine are chipped off, but binding is tight.
