Shawn Wen is a writer and audio producer. Her book, A Twenty Minute Silence Followed By Applause, won the 2018 Krause Essay Prize from University of Iowa. Her writing has published in n+1, The New Inquiry, Frieze, The Iowa Review, White Review, and numerous other journals. Her video projects have been screened at MoMA and other venues. Her radio work has been broadcast on This American Life, Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and Marketplace. Wen was born in Beijing, raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA, and currently resides in San Francisco.

Daniel Poppick is the author of the poetry collections Fear of Description (Penguin, 2019), a winner of the National Poetry Series, and The Police (Omnidawn, 2017). He lives in Brooklyn, where he works as a copywriter and co-edits the Catenary Press.
